Though he’s been around the world on a motorbike, Ewan has a lot of love for Italian food, particularly a well-made pasta dish. Why not order up a few pastas from your favourite Italian takeaway for the flick? While you’re waiting for that to arrive, make yourself Jim Carrey’s favourite snack: toasted cheese sandwich with loads of ketchup for dipping.

Also out this week is Nanny McPhee & The Big Bang. Perfect for gathering the family around, you may also want to treat the clan to star Emma Thompson’s favourite of cod, with a good old fashioned English takeaway of fish & chips.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest Inception is causing both fascination and irritation for film-viewers around the globe. Carry on with the theme at home with Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island, now available for rent, starring the steely-eyed heartthrob. Make a night of it by ordering up one of Leo’s favourite takeaways: Italian pasta or American cheeseburgers. Maybe even both. It’s a long movie.
