Friday the 13th; the unluckiest day of the year and the day many superstitious folk stay in doors. We all know about 7 years bad luck from broken mirrors and not walking under ladders, but what other odd superstitions are there? And just where did they originate from?
We love Star Wars and we love burgers … so it’s impressive someone has managed to make a burger we’d run a mile from.
French fast food chain, Quick, has launched promotional Star Wars’ burgers to tie in to the 3D re-release of ‘The Phantom Menace’ (now you can be disappointed in 3 dimensions!). The Jedi burger looks normal enough (though we can’t imagine Yoda eating one) but the “Darth Vador burger” is … well, look at it. A pitch-black burger bun.
